Welcome to the forum, Nunny. Thanks for posting a link to the U.K. UFO records. What is missing from the newly released files is quite interesting, too. Records of the famous Rendelsham/Bentwaters case are nowhere to be found, though they should have appeared in this batch of documents. These records are supposed to be maintained permanently. Missing, too, are records of a UFO incident that happened to the ship the H.M.S. Manchester. It is claimed that ' a freak gust of wind' blew this page out the ship's logbook, leaving intact the preceding and following pages. A remarkably selective gust of wind! One is reminded of this fact: When investigators looked for records from Roswell Army Air Force Base for July 1947, they found them missing. Again, these records are required by law to be retained permanently. Interesting that the missing documents neatly bracketed the time of the alleged Roswell UFO crash, and its immediate aftermath. Please cite your reference for the missing log books. What logbooks ?? and who says that they exist and that pages are missing.

Military research requires a high level of secrecy, so when experimental craft are tested, they become UFOs by the general public. From the Roswell crash to most recent UFO activity, all have normal explanations, from weather events and military research. Unless ET is able to use warmhole principle, (time travel); or other means of traveling the vast distances between stars; highly unlikely that Earth was ever visited by ET, or it ever will. Better for humans to start thinking of ideas to colonize other planets, as in a billion years life will become unhosptibable on Earth due the Sun's expension as it begins red giant phase.

Well, it is interesting that the UK government did at least make their UFO files public. So you can't really complain anymore that they are hiding secret stuff from the public.

I said nothing about missing logbooks. If you are referring to the H.M.S. Manchester incident, which I cited, it was the one crucial page from a ship's logbook that went missing. Nick Pope has discussed this matter in his recent comments about the newly-released U.K. UFO documents. You may listen to the interview at: http://theunexplained.tv/paranormal-podcasts/edition-54-nick-pope-new-ufo-release

The fact that the U.K. has declassified and released some UFO report documents is commendable. This does not, however, establish that *all* that is known on the subject has come to light. Michael

Declassification becomes possible when information has no useful purpose anymore, as it happens here with UK UFO declassification; it serves no purpose, and it relates to past events only,it seems. Lets focus on SETI instead, that is where there is a real chance of actually finding ET radio signals.

Correct! Seti is definately the way forward! The "Rendelsham/Bentwaters case" was the one file i'd been hoping to read about, but to be honest i wasn't surprised to find out it had gone missing! Anyways i downloaded everything from the archives & am hoping to print it all off, should make some good reading!

Anyone got any good links about the "aurora project"?

Another telescope array for listening of ET radio signals, i believe is the Paul Allen dish array.
