You have (inadvertantly) created a second account. To again use your previous account, click the ACCOUNT link on top of this page and log out. Then select the ACOUNT link again and select the "forgot email address?" or the "forgot password?" link (they are identical) and go to paragraph 2) "If you forgot your account's email address, or you can't receive email there" After following those instructions, you should see your computers listed again in your account. Gruß, Gundolf [edit]When you've successfully switched to your original account, you should change your email address there. If the new account now has that same address, BOINC won't let you change the original account's address, since no two accounts can have the same email address. So, before you log off from the new account, change the email address there to some dummy address.[/edit] Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. Did you read my post? ;-) You don't need the old email address. Again:

Did you read my post? ;-) You forgot to tell him where to find the authenticator. The authenticator can be found in the BOINC **DATA** directory in a file named account_setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu.xml. The BOINC data directory path is listed in the first few messages after a restart of the BOINC client (not just the manager). BOINC WIKI |

You guys are all missing the obvious. The email doesn't have to be valid to log into SETI. If he knows what the email address was and still remembers the password, he can still use his old email to log in. Chances are, Ricardo thought that because his email was no longer valid that he had to use his new one to log in, and it prompted him to create a new account, which wasn't necessary. |
