LOL.....I have only time.
And ths simple F word was really overrated at the time.

Carlin gave it a lotta mileage, which I won't post here. Just google Carlin and........
Well, you will get the idea.

I have spent far too much time postulating on it here.

Some folks never did get it.

But, it's Berkeley's fora, not mine to seize.
I have been granted a lotta lattitude.

Edit.....
Carlin's bit was never more pointed now that he has passed.

I agree completely. Carlin did wonders with that word lol, and it's very pointed now. Funny how retrospect is everything. Just about all his bits hit harder now than they ever did.

Did you watch the deep field 3d video posted in the milestone forum. Fills my brain for the evening and makes me feel even more assured in what I assist with in this project. Man it's a big place, 'something has got to be out there' isn't as much as a statement, as it is a mere starting point. Something is out there, Thanks for helping it along. Now to finish my toast to your milestone! (actually read 3 more!)

Congrats on 100 megabytes worth ... astounding achievement.

That's 4470 points per each of your 22,382 posts. Woulda been even lower, save those periodic Time-Outs, umm, badges of honor, you get now and then :-)

... I'm only able to post every 12,500 or so points.

Gladly, there is not limit on the posts per point......LOL.

I have a F link for you........

Over in Politics........I won't go there here...LOL.

Fantastic Mark, well done. I saw this number coming tbh, being one with an eye for milestones in anything that's remotely milestonable (!$), but have not been bothering with the fora for a few days as everything seemed to be rather uneventful in SETIland this end.

Why does it say "Banished: ID 421968" in the area of the messageboard where it usually displays the name of the person who started the thread? And where did the first message go? Did the guy get into trouble or something? I've never seen that Banished thing before.

If he/she is still around, congrats on 100 million, that's pretty epic. I hope there was no foul play going on there though, since that's one of the only reasons I think someone can get banished. :(

Well, it's a little bit tricky to answer, because it's not allowed
to discuse Moderator actions. But, yes, if someone gets banned he
is in trouble. :D If nothing changed in the next few hours you
can wish the user a nice 14 day vacation. ;-)

Wowza, 14-day vacations sound great, but not when I'd be forced to not run seti! About halfway through the last outage I started getting antsy, I can't imagine what I'd do if I had to wait two whole weeks!

100 million is still an incredible feat. I remember when 200 credits per day was like super duper amazing.

Oh well, I hope it's nothing too serious and he can get back to crunching soon. :)

Also, I'm sorry about bringing up a moderator's actions, I wasn't aware that we weren't supposed to talk about them. Guess it's time for me to go read the rules again so I don't find myself banished too.

He isn't banned from crunching, only from posting on the message board. If you're banished, you can crunch, and read the message board, but not post. That's all.

Baron, I think he can still run SETI on his comps, he just can't post to the forum if I understand correctly. So, his #'s will still be growing like mad. :)

@Mark - congrats on the 100 Million, see you when you get back.

@Baron -
Also, I'm sorry about bringing up a moderator's actions, I wasn't aware that we weren't supposed to talk about them.
What we are not allowed to discuss is SPECIFIC Moderator actions involving an individual. There is a thread for non-specific general comments in the Politics forum.

Yes, you did it again. You got yourself banished for the umpteenth time. Maybe you should get a banishment count in addition to the credit count under your avatar. Anyway, congratulations! ;D
