Possibility of other life

There are plenty of accounts of unexplained booming noises from the sky. These accounts extend back in time to well before Earthly aircraft reached the speed of sound. There are also a good many UFO reports involving landed objects which left depressed areas on the ground. A prominent case of this sort occurred in Trans-en-Provence, France in 1981. Measurements were made, which indicated that a weight of several tons had rested on the pressed-down terrain. Michael

There are UFO reports to indicate capabilities of flight far beyond our ability. Many of these occurred long enough ago to rule out the possibility that human aircraft were involved. Even the most secret of our military developments represent incremental technical advances, not virtual miracles of flight, orders of magnitude beyond anything we can do at the time. To argue that it is impractical or impossible to travel to or from the stars, due to the long times required, or because huge amounts of energy would be required, is unwarranted. The fact that we are incapable of such travel is no guide to what may be possible to a more technically advanced civilization. Please recall that a great many things that we take for grated today were once considered impossible by the experts. Among these- The sustained flight of heavier- than-air machines, and rocket travel to the Moon and planets. There may well be ways to work around the light speed barrier, and to do so with a reasonable expenditure of energy. We already begin to realize that the theory of relativity, whence our current understanding of the light speed barrier, is a less than complete picture of reality. It can not be reconciled with what we've learned of the quantum nature of the physical universe. Michael

To date, there is no proof that any UFO reports are actually UFOs, nobody ever collected remains of such events. However, any ET crafts would be based on minerals found on earth, such as iron, gold, silver and others; these minerals are abundant in the universe, thus these minerals are probably part of the make up of other rocky exoplanets. ETs would perhaps go through the same technological developments as humans have done so far. However, a much advanced and older ET civilization would perhaps develop exoctic propulsions for crafts for interstelar travel. However, the laws of physics aplly the same anywhere in the universe, physics become somewhat blured when blackholes come into play, and higly doutbful that ETs would use blackholes as means of traveling to star systems; remember, once matter enters the event horizon, matter will be sucked up by the singularity forever.
