And I havent found much, but curious why the AP splitter hardly ever are running?? It's those ATI folks that steals all the APs ;) |

The AP splitters go through tapes wicked fast, and there are six splitters. They can go through 20 tapes in 2-3 days ish. MB takes..what seems like about twice as long. This was an issue a while back, because the feeder queue was evenly split between AP and MB, and at one point, there was somewhere near 100 tapes laying around waiting for MB to catch up, so the feeder queue was adjusted to 97:3 (MB:AP) which helped a lot, as well as cutting back the number of splitters. Then a few weeks ago, the number of splitters got increased and we're back to AP burning through tapes like crazy and then hours of twiddling thumbs waiting for another tape to show up. Once the cricket graph settles out, a good chance to get some APs is when it will surge to max for 1-3 hours, which means APs are being issued during those periods. I am assuming I have luck of the draw. I have 77 AP tasks on board, and I have done hundreds over the last week. For quite a while every CPU unit I got was an AP unit. A whole bunch of them are in my pendings at the moment. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

I´ve found out so more you finnish so more you get. When they also validate and make a cannonical result and don't miss a deadline (or get caught Cherry Picking) IMHO, then you'll get the Maximum Amount per CPU (core) and an amount for CUDA/GPU crunching. But a.t.m. I can't remember how much it is, it has been changed afew times, cause litle was running, if not completely everything, was down. A series of new SERVERs, were needed, ofcoarse, there are hiccups, new system, a lot of testing, then switching it, for the Real-Life-Tests. Then actually use it. Ofcoarse, Murphy, is still around and plenty other 'events', which can force a SERVER, on his knees :^).... Only a few times, was one of my 3 QUADs, out of work, cause I've a few Back- Up Projects, so completely out of work, was never the case. Have had a few hundred Astropulses, almost always on my fastest rig...:) Now also on a Q6600 + GTX470 host, taking a few hours more as my (OC'ed)X9650, which does 1, 2, 3 or 4 in about 8 hours. |

Downloads going fine here too ~1700 between 2 machines with 17 of those being APs. Feels good having work again. ;) Traveling through space at ~67,000mph! |

My main machine has over 2400 WU. (phenom II 965BE at 4.0ghz gtx 470 775/1550/1780) My Other quad has about 400 WU. (phenom II 820 at 2.8ghz and gtx 450 950/1900/1965) My others have like 20 WU. So I think I am good tell the next outrage. |

I pretty much get 1:1. Turn one AP in, get another one. Massive pile of 30-something in my cache. Linux laptop: record uptime: 1511d 20h 19m (ended due to the power brick giving-up) |
