I just had it explained to me that global warming due to excess carbon dioxide is making it snow harder this winter. Go figure.

You get up to the Ski area's up in the sierra's lately? They have a lot of new snow, the skiers and snowboarders are just loving it.

Most years I worry about not enough snow; this year it may be too much. Certain roads are closed or require chains.

LOL Isn't that the truth! And more is coming, they are saying another 1-2 feet of new snow at about the 6500-7000 foot level, with obviously more than that with the next storm coming in tonight. I hate when I have to travel to Sacramento during the winter, as I hate putting chains on, and the fact that not very many people are smart when driving in the snow, causing accidents.

I ate well, and had lots of fun, but didn't get to ski much. On the other hand, no injuries this year.

That's all that matters! Glad you had fun. And glad you weren't injured. Still a ton of snow up on the mountains.

I'm hoping we have winter storms like we did last year, sure would be nice to stay out of a drought for more than a year or 2. LOL

Just got my plane tickets for next year, but I won't start looking at snow reports until August. (I do, however, peek at the Northstar webcams on occasion; there's still lots of snow up there.)

Nice. Yeah there's still a lot of snow on the Sierra Nevada's. Its going to be a good water year. Although they are forecasting that the fire season is going to be bad. That part I'm not looking forward to.

They just got more snow at Lake Tahoe this week, even though most of the ski resorts are closed. I hope there's some snow left for next year.

Keep your fingers crossed. Our water levels for this year are great thanks to all that snow!
