Kitties are sending all their best juju to the boyz in da lab for tomorrow.
That ol' Cricket has been lounging for too long now.
Hopefully most of the bad karma will be behind us soon.

Meow meow meow go the kitties. Booga booga.

Well with a bit of spare time my server has taken the time to mow it's grass and take out the garbage. My main machine took the time to pick up drawing and grease pencil art! Myself I've found time to game a bit more. Tonight my two machines and myself will grace ourselves with holy packets and hope that the syn packets aren't in enough qualities to keep us from getting into the ack packet baptism cache when it becomes available. All be with SaH! *Best of luck boyz!*

Probably would have been worth holding off this new thread till after the work had been coming out for a couple of days again.
That way this new thread wouldn't fill up with the "It syas the project is up but i can't get any work" posts.

Well,
If anybody new here can be pardoned.
Everybody else must know the shitck by now.
I don't, franly give a damn if the project does not come back up for a week, or a month, or a year.

The kitties and I shall still be waiting..........
And willing. And ready to crunch.

Bring it on, servers, bring it on.

I think they will wait until the 21st to get everything working as a present for Washington’s Birthday.

I'm guessing this will recify itself once everything catches up?

I've already reported it, and my RAC is slowly climbing...

Doh! Thanks!

So, will the newly created, yet unsent task get sent out to some poor sap who would possibly crunch it for no credit? Or will it never get sent?

The server may tag it as not needed and cancel it before it gets sent out, in which case no harm done. If it does get sent out, whomever crunches it will still get credit as long as they return it before deadline and it validates against the quorum.

Just to clarify:

I reported around 3000 tasks tonight. Many of them, like 260-280, are listed as overdue, starting from 13th of February.
But I'll get my credit, right?

As long as your work was reported before the 3rd person's, you'll be fine.

And provided it was crunched on a host in good condition, calculating accurate results capable of validation.

Allow me to be a PITA one more time :)

This is my first valididation against the new ATI GPU Astropulse...could this be a bug in the reported credit for the GPU app?

Greetings,

Well, the timing could not have been more perfect.

8GB of RAM and Win7 Pro 64 bit now reside on this i7.

I copied my BOINC data folder to my data HD and then copied it to the ProgramData folder in Win7. I installed BOINC 64 bit version. BOINC picked up right where it left off on the WinXP install.

All my finished WUs have been reported. Now if I could just get a few WUs to see how this new installation BOINCs...

Keep on BOINCing...! :)
