Howdy friend... the dress is pretty much done, except for the beading and hem. The girl is coming at 2 p.m. tomorrow - I hope she likes it.

I hope you're well, K :-)

Good afternoon Mike, John, and Magenta. Pretty warm day here. About 60F, supposed to be a tad bit warmer the next few days. I'm hoping the warm temps stay, I'm tired of the snow. LOL

Progress photo of Deb dress, as promised...only needs one slight adjustment and hemming.

BTW - she loves it *Magenta breaths sigh of relief*

Gosh. I need to divorce and remarry so I can get a bridal dress from Magenta. Hang on you're not allowed white the second time round strictly speaking...
I need a different pretext it seems.

To John Clark and colleagues...

(Please let it be known that it has been a decade or more!? since I made regular post to this site (except for the few recent ones since my upgrade a couple of months ago) You guys did say that everyone always comes back!

Uhmm, I not sure how t put this without raising eyebrows, and I certainly do not wish/want to offend anyone, but when I logged on to this thread, I was automatically taken to the first post.

This is the sticky bit. Of the names that you refer to, they were the people that used to populate this forum constantly, consistently, with their individualities, idiosyncrancies etc, basically they made the place come alive!?.

Whether we, the general populace, and they themselves, agreed/disagreed with posts made, they defined Cafe Seti!

So the question is...they have moved on?

Said with the best of intentions
Glenn

C@$p, Magenta, I apologise, I did not mean to hijack the thread from that beautiful gown.

If I could serve you a beer, would you accept my apology?

As POETS Day has but a breath away,
and Glenn's questions are about yesterday.
Then it is reasonable to reply that most are still around,
but post a little less that they did when things abound.

This thread still relates to Rocky and Tim, as was.
But, continuance needed another bod.
Amongst the newer posters to this Rockey's relm,
we have Magenta the textile dyer and fashion designer at the helm.
