I haven't looked through the other posts but can someone make a Seti@Home app for the Iphone, Ipad?

It wouldn't be a good idea.

The idea behind distributed computing is to use all spare CPU cycles, which means it runs the processor at 100% all the time. Doing that on mobile devices would kill the battery life.

I think the most people have done is create BOINC apps that you can use to check your credits, etc., but not actual processing.

Actually, someone started on the project and discovered there were several problems. I am not exactly certain what, but I believe the project was dropped.
