Hi,

I am currently running BOINC (initial tarball + updates from CVS) plus Seti@home 4.02. How do I update sah to the new 4.07? I've found no download links for the binary, and the first time I ran BOINC, it autodownloaded it (which the user should be asked at least because of the size).

I am not sure if you can override the client information in the work unit. Each time it downloads a new work unit this might contain a reference to a new client version. If this isn't there yet, it will download it immediately as it cannot (or doesn't "want" to) process it with a different client version.

Projects can supply you with various types of work units which need different project clients and are not compatible to eachother.

seti@home 4.07 is only available for windows. it fixes the "time-bug" which the linux version never had.
