so, im new to this seti thing, and i have completed my first two tasks, and they have been finished and collected by seti, only that i didnt recieve any credit. what did i do wrong?

You didn't do anything wrong.

Your both completed work units have the status "Completed, waiting for validation" resp. "Completed, validation inconclusive"

The first one means that your "wing mate" hasn't returned the second copy of the work unit. At least two copies are needed to verify the results.

The second one means that your wing mate has returned the copy but the results were different. That happens sometimes when one copy is processed by the CPU and the other on the GPU (among other reasons). So, a third copy will be sent out to determine the correct result.

If you click the “View” link beside “Pending Credit” on your Account page under “Computing and credit” you’ll see the amount of credit your host has requested for each task. While differing claims by “wingmen” (AKA “quorum partners”) will occasionally change the amount granted, in a large majority of cases you’ll receive the amount shown, more or less exactly, when the validation process is complete.
