The disaster of space shuttle Challenger 25 years later--->La catástrofe del Challenger, 25 años después I did not get any information about it when it happened, since I was serving and on duty and had no tv/newspapers access. I was sitting on the couch looking through a magazine and the tv was on. Suddenly the tv program's voice seemed to change and it took me a second to realize it was Dan Rather who was now speaking. A very sad day. I will always remember it. Martin ID: 1071588 · |

Just came off a long stint of sitting in the backwoods of Germany on the 1986 ReFORGer exersize. Walked into a Beer tent to drink and watch a little TV. THey broke in to make the announcement...
