I have installed the CUDA 3.2 toolkit and the optimized app:
setiathome-6.09.x86_64-pc-linux-gnu_cuda30 and tried to process some WU's. The first 3 exited immediately with a code 1 (0x1, -255) error. The client seemed to like everything else with the setup of the GTX460 card. The cuda error is:
'cudaSetDevice(devPref-1)' in file './cudaAcceleration.cu' in line 215 : setting the device when a process is active is not allowed.
I have searched for the topic and found only one reference from 2008 and it seems is not relevant.

Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong or how to fix the error. I can't ask the question over on the Lunatics site it seems because it is closed to new users.

The task numbers are:

I do not think that app is Fermi compatible, but you can ask Either Jason or Raistmer for assistance as they are the main code wizards.

From all my reading, this new app is supposed to BE for Fermi cards. I can see from threads in the Lunatics Linux forum that people are successfully using it. I wish I could ask the question there, but as I said before, the forum is closed to anyone new.
