I just got my nvidia gtx 260 back from warranty repair, installed the drivers 197.13. But boinc still says no useable gpu found. Other than installing the card again, was there anything I had to do in Boinc for the cuda to be used? I forgot to mention its windows 7. |

ignore now, it now seems to be downloading the cuda jobs, had to restart the app and do an update but all fixed. Have no idea why. |

you might want to get the current release from nvidia.com for your drivers. 260.99 I believe. Janice |

Well, I've been fighting the "No useable GPSU's found" problem on my linux machine for a couple of days now. I think I have it figured out but won't know until the project settles back down and I can get some WU's. Turned out, I had done the install correctly .... the problem turned out that the BOINC client was starting way too soon and before the system had found and initialized the GPU card and all the CUDA libraries. After trying dozens of tips, I finally found the info to delay the starting of BOINC and finally the GPU is being found by the client normally. Don't know what needs to be done in the Windows7 environment. Luckily, my Windows7 optimized client install went well and I was crunching on CUDA in no time.
