The NASA Kepler satellite has found a rocky exoplanet in about same size scale as our Earth, as reported by the BBC and the NASA:

Was hovering a bit, whether this thread would belong into the SETI@home Science forum. However, the new finding seems to be a bit in the warm side, so this Science (non-SETI) will have to do. But isn’t it a borderline case indeed?
