nope though you must have notice the pink quartz rock on the first pic. the WPA had many enterprising engineers engaged in building cabins and roads here during the Great Depression. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

Mount Scott? Correct I wondered if the Enterprising Engineer clue was a bit much good going. Yes Mount Scott in the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge most of the original WPA buidlings are still standing. One road makes its way up Mount Scott. You can see for many miles a top of this little mountain. For a special taste of the park wildlife, head to Meers right outside the parks Northeast entrance and get a Meersburger or a buffalo burger made from local Longhorns and Buffalo. be aware the buffalo is lean and tasty Right outside the park is Ft Sill home to the US ARMY Artillery school and other regular army units. That is an interesting landform - and nice photo. Is this near the Anasazi sites? So is it New Mexico? Chaco Canyon specifically? |

Vaguely near the Anasazi sites. Yes, it is in New Mexico. No, it is not is Chaco Canyon. As far as close to Anasazi sites. There are none that I know about within 10 miles (however there may be some in this range). I am absolutely certain that there are some within 50 miles. ![]() ![]() BOINC WIKI |

First I tought it was the rock formation above the White House ruins at Canyon De Chelly(same smudges down the cliff), but those are in Arizona. Now after your last clue I think this is a Rock face in the Echo Amphitheater. ![]() ![]() Who the hell is General Failure and why is he reading my harddisk?¿ |
