I have the current version of 6.10.58 running on Gentoo AMD X86_64 bit without the optimized apps. The problem I have is I can't get Cuda running on it. I have latest 260.19.29 nvidia driver and the latest Nvidia-cuda-sdk (3.2) and Nvidia-cuda-toolkit (3.2). I get:

Now I have seen other people with this issue but nothing for Gentoo. Any tips or things I should read up on? I don't get any errors that I see in Boincmgr and there is no errors in any of the log files that I have seen.

Firstly, I don't want optimized apps yet, I want to get the base app working first. Secondly, Gentoo is a bit different and the installs work different. Thirdly, I have read and tried the stuff in that post and it didn't help.

If you look at the Applications page (reachable from the PARTICIPATE link), you'll see that there's no stock CUDA application for unix at SETI.

The app_info.xml from the apps for Linux only has astropulse and standard MB. I don't see anything for Cuda.

This isn't going to help me get cuda stuff working in Gentoo. Granted it runs faster then the standard apps but I was trying to get Cuda working.

Looking at Lunatics site they don't even have a 64 bit Linux Cuda app so this appears to be a waste of my time currently.

Yeah, I am not sure it is right. The 6.10 is the version for Fermi and this looks like it would be 6.08. I don't want to get a bunch of errors on it.

Looks like they want to work through the options on the Windows side first before they get into the porting it to Linux.

So you would prefer me to waste 550MB of tasks just to test something? I think not. If you look at the files that it puts down you would see why I won't. The cuda files are from 2.1 not 3+.
