There doesnt seem to be a designated place for this question so Im putting it here. I am curious as to what the annual budget for SETI is. I realize that may be hard to define but some kind of figures would be interesting - I expect that the cost is not much for a largescale science project. With so many good causes questions should always been asked if money is being well spent. MY humble puter is bit a tiny cog in the great BOINC wheel but I fell I need to ask myself how I should choose to apply it. I have chosen 20% SETI and 80% World Community Grid acknowledging the humanitarian nature of the latter's research. Those figures are arbitrary but you have to choose something.... |
