Beer is relaxing. You can order it at any bar, and it is the same within counties or regions. Mixed drinks can vary greatly from bartender to bartender. WIth beer, you always know what you are getting. If you put 100 people on the side of a mountain, and tell them to survive, the first thing they do is to make beer. With work cancelled tomorrow due to extensive snowfall, it is imperative that beer be consumed in celebration!

Exactly my feeling. But there may be just enough whisky.

Suds report:

Sudwerk Marzen
From Davis, California.

Decent, carmel colored lager. Slightly under-carbonated, but quite drinkable.

Not worth going out of your way for, but do not turn one down if offered.
24 ounce bottle.

I'm back to Budweisers, but I have a lot of them cold and ready to drink. I am tired of fixing computers for today, so it's time to drain the refrigerator.

I haven't tried Sudwerks Pilsner yet. I will look for it the next time I go to the exotics store. Out of all the beers I have tried, Duval was the only one I didn't like. It may have been skunked. I even liked the beer with jalepenos in it.

Which one - the Sudwerks Pils or the Duval?
I thought Duval was a Belgian ale, like Chimay. Definitely NOT NA.
