Over the weekend we "caught up" with workunit demand, given the low workunit limits that were set, so I set the limits to the effectively-infinitely-high setting. Of course, this was around the time the software blanking suite of programs needed to be kicked forward a couple times (we're not sure exactly why they hang - they just do). So we were low on raw data for a while there.

As usual, appreciate the news, Matt.

Thanks for the update Matt. Could you sometime give us the name of the server doing the RFI blanking of the raw data before it is broken up into WUs. Just for the fun of it after the last/third new server comes in it would be fun to have a list of all of them and what they do. I am curios to see how much bigger the iceberg is than what we normally see.

I am curios to see how much bigger the iceberg is than what we normally see. I had made the suggestion a bit ago in another thread that it would be very helpful for some of us to understand how all of the servers in the Seti system work if somebody could come up with a nice little flow chart. I think it would open up some eyes as to just what is involved in getting the work from Aerecibo to us and back to Seti. ____________ ****** "Ask not, what your kitty can do for you. It sounds like only the assimilation will be down. If I understand Matt correctly, the project will still be more or less online, the results just won't be assimilated into the Science DB.
