Can I save the seti folder with all the WU and reinstall BOINC and then copy over the boinc folder and copy the WI wit it? That way I don't have to wait to download 400 WU again? Adam |

YES... the one you need to copy is C:\ProgramData\BOINC |

Yes, but you must run only one of the copies! Otherwise one of the hosts will get detached on reporting WUs and all are lost anyway. Gruß, Gundolf |

How to I make sure i do it that way? Where I don't run one copy? Do I overwrite what is install by default when I install boinc? |

I thought you would copy it to another computer. If not, there's no danger of running both copies at the same time. Just save the BOINC data directory (it won't be deleted by an uninstall). After uninstalling BOINC, restore the data directory (if necessary) and install BOINC, pointing the installer to it (if it's not in the old place). Gruß, Gundolf |
