Thanks Pasi
It's hard to believe that 33 years have past since humanity sent Voyager 1 on this great adventure.
These are very interesting articles.

For voyager to get into another stars influence will take it 73000 years. It is about 6 astromnomical units out from the sun. It is still being inflrnced by the suns heliosheath. Still active after all these years. I only wonder how long it takes a signal to reach it. It is very close to be in interstellar space soon. There is some strange occurances like its path has changed abour 2000 miles from where it should be. Something else is affecting the spacecraft tragetory. Space is so vast it is mind numbing.

Voyager 1's signal rt time is approahing 32 hrs, Voyager 2's rt time is nearly 26 hrs.

The details from JPL are here: http://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/mission/weekly-reports/index.htm
