Over this past weekend we had an disk issue (unrelated to the new servers) which hampered workunit creation. We back to full production at this point, though due to high demand it might be a while until your clients receive new work.

Over this past weekend we had an disk issue (unrelated to the new servers) which hampered workunit creation. We'll be low on workunits to send for the next day or so as this recovers. Sh** happens, but we will survive. ____________ /The grumpy old Swede. "I'm so old, that 98% of all trees in the forest, are younger than I am"

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Now we have 2 new servers, other parts of the system are getting stressed. This will change again when the 3rd new server arrives, as the next less reliable bit falls over. Not totally unexpected.

Wednesday and all the splitters are down yet everything else is working; the original problem in this thread was solved days ago. One host is about to run out of work again. Wonder what's causing it... Try reading yesterday's technical news (especially the bits about raw data and radar blanking).

Hi @all, | |

Hi @all, It's highly unlikely that, with a hundred thousand users or more, and applications which have remained on secure servers since they were released in August 2008, that you computer is the first and (so far as I know) only computer to have detected this virus. It's likely to be a false positive: but you are quite right to take all virus warnings seriously. The usual advice is to submit an program you are unsure about to the multi-vendor testing site at http://www.virustotal.com/. This will independently test the file against multiple antivirus engines, with detailed results from each antivirus engine. If you are still worried after doing this, please post again.
