Running BOINC 6.10.56 on a PPC mac running 10.5.8 any cron job that involve log files or caches will cause the running task to finish with 100% status at any time during the run period, There are no abort codes and no messages. The only way to get round this is to manually suspend all Seti processing then run the cron clean clean-up. None of the other BOINC projects suffer from this. Its getting to be a bind and I am seriously considering dumping all BOINC projects as SETI is the main project providing work for PPC. |

The only files that are "touched" are the log files; these are rotated, user cache files older than a week and temporary files older than a week. The cron job also has no effect on any other BOINC tasks that may be running only SETI |
