not the unibombers cabin?

No. That was in Washington or Oregon, wasn't it?

This has already been established as New Mexico.

Georgia O'Keeffe's cabin north of Santa Fe?

No.

But, I believe it is within 50 miles of there.

Today's clue: The reason for the fame is more closely related to photography than to painting.

The Lusty Men (1952) starring Robert Mitchum and the gorgeous Susan Hayward is a great movie.

In contrast ...

Dawn Lyn, Arthur Hunnicut, John Davis Chandler, and Pepe Serna all participated with Gregory Peck in the 1971 movie "Shoot Out".

Normally I wouldn't care, but the reviews of this movie are universally very funny in describing just how AWFUL the movie actually was. If "Shoot Out" is 'famous', it is famous for being bad.

The link below leads to a 1971 movie review in the New York Times; if you want to read one.

Shoot Out':Peck and Dawn Lyn Cast in Hathaway Film
By ROGER GREENSPUN
Published: October 14, 1971

It seems a lot to expect a little 7-year-old girl with just another movie and a TV series behind her to hold together a whole feature film full of inept adults, but that is what somebody must have expected of Dawn Lyn in "Shoot Out," given the story, the director, and the rest of the cast. Actually, Miss Lyn is not yet quite up to shaping such a movie, though she tries hard enough, and even succeeds in bringing some life to her role as Gregory Peck's illegitimate daughter—a part that could well prove the ultimate trial of the Stanislavsky method.

Famously bad does count as famous, doesn't it?

OK, we have one of the two questions answered. Now, where is it?
