So after a while now I can get tasks from SETI but can't start them. The only thing I can see is "ready to launch" in status bar. Any advices? |

Did you set "Suspend work while computer is in use?" to "yes" in your Computing preferences? (Look also at your local preferences, as they take precedence.) Also check your Messages tab to see if the tasks are just preempted. I checked client settings and marked a box " use gpu while computer is in use" and the project started. Danke! |

I checked client settings and marked a box " use gpu while computer is in use" and the project started. That switch can cause massive slow downs while you are using your computer. If this becomes a problem, switch it to off and put a small number into the wait after keyboard and mouse usage. BOINC WIKI |
