When the birds come to the feeders, I sit with a catapult and many 1/2" ball bearings to shoot at the neighbours if they try to hunt the birds. Drones and Water bombs sounds interesting, At least from here. ;) The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Cats can live up to ~20 years (that's your pampered Siamese) For a feral non descript tabby 'we saw her in the fish shop in the 70ies' to claim 39 (or rather for the villargers to claim 39)... Carola ------- I'm multilingual - I can misunderstand people in several languages! |

May or not be true.....although I doubt it, judging from the pic. Apparently, there are documented cases of cats living almost this long, although I never would have believed it. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Like I said, it is all about life style. Maybe the cat doesn't smoke, doesn't drink, doesn't stay up late and doesn't chase after the opposite sex. Then it died of boredom at 39. |

Actually being Cats are Nocturnal, They by definition do stay up late, We Humans though just go to sleep too early for them. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

One of these days I'll start in earnest on moving My Dads 1400 or so Kodachrome slides to the PC and to CD's or maybe DVD's. I've got the scanner to do It with Bit I have no idea how big a hard drive I'll need or how many slides will fir onto a CD/DVD at Max Resolution(Same as an HD TV really for ease of viewing). But I think I'm getting closer. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

But I think I'm getting closer. Figure 5MB / Photo. Should be about 10GB or so of HD space for you. BTW, you are lucky. I have several thousand. My dad has several thousand, and my grandfather has several thousand. I need a better solution than the flatbed scanner I am using now. It tends to mis-frame. BOINC WIKI |
