Why Bill, we recently had this very discussion with our vet!

Keep in mind that our vet may be biased, since Eric and I appear to be putting his kids through college, but our vet vehemently assured us that 5 cat is still comfortably within normal limits.

My guess is that as long as we continue to pay our outrageous vet bills, any number of cats we take will still be "within normal limits".

I would say that you are cat crazed if you have to make more than one trip to buy the kitty litter and cat kibble for a week because it all won't fit in the car.

I would say you are cat crazed if you can't get the cat pee smell off you.

I would say you are cat crazed if you can't get them to the vet to be fixed as fast as they breed.

I would say you are cat crazed if Animal Control has cited you for having too many.

For the record there are now 5 of these. Spawnie is a large male stray who lives permanently in our backyard. Jordan White Paws is a medium sized male feral who dines regularly in our backyard. I consider Jordan W.P. to be "our cat" because I've made some good progress in desensitizing him to my presence. He now regularly comes within about a foot of me if I am holding a food dish, and several weeks ago he got close enough for me to touch him. Indoors we have Stinky-Lou, who is a large adult female cat, along with two new kittens, Zsa-Zsa and Eva.

No we are not counting those. I guess I should have stated cats too, but instead just used ....

Anyway, Ang got my personal guess, so if I am the closest again, the potato recipe will stay a secret awhile longer. If that is the case, I will have an alternate price, just need to work out the details.

Well if the Korpela raccoons are as fat and well fed as the one I watched waddling down the back ally last night then there is a good 85lb of raccoons right there. I'm guessing the total mammal weight in the household is around 460lb. That is a lot of dangerous combustibles...and I saw CSI, I know just how dangerous an exploding raccoon can be.
