Hi all, the last days Seti@Home was down, I thought about a 'Backup Project'. How can I set it up? It should only run, when Seti has no WU. I cannot find any preferences to set a project like that. Thank you, Schultze |

Set the Resource share for the Backup Project to 0 (zero) If the Backup Project do not accept 0 (zero) set the Resource share to 0.01 Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |

I don't know what it is in German but in English it is on the project's account page, seti@home preferences. Just find the preferences for whatever project you want to run as back up. PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

BTW, Resource share is a double. You can set the resource share to a very small number (0.0000000001) will only give the project one download every few years under normal circumstances. NOTE that any task downloaded from a very low resource share project will almost certainly run in High Priority till completion. BOINC WIKI |
