Just wondering where all the [american] football fans have gone. Have you been hijacked by the baseball playoffs?
Don't you miss the crushing tackles, the circus catches, the amazing runs. The stands filled by the frenzied fans cheering for the home team.
I will be in front of my t.v. one hour befor game time to watch the pre-game show. Then I will be pulling for my team to completely destroy the Houston Texans.
Final score---Chiefs 31-- Houston 17

eh my Lions won their first game this last week. I can relax seeing as they are the worst team, overall, for the past 10 years and somehow got one of the toughest schedules in football yet again. they'd be lucky to win 3 games this year

Being a Nebraska Husker, I'd really rather not talk about football with a Texan... at least not until I stop crying. ;)

I have my Chiefs hoody on at this moment and when it starts getting colder outside, I have my Chiefs sideline warm-up jacket.

I still miss the Nigerian Nightmare

You never know where you are gonna find a Chiefs fan. Never would have guessed there was a fan that far north Robert.

I'm still here KC...just phenomenally dissapointed in my Buffalo Bills.

But I am not a bandwagon fan-will still be in our seats to support our team at the next home game against the Detroit Lions (Nov 14th)

Know how you feel, I have suffered through countless seasons of having a 2-12 record.remember one season 1-13. Never give up Blurf, Buffalo shall return.

Ah yes, I had heard that you Yanks were playing some sort of football these days. I really must watch a game some time, right after the 101st Grey Cup this fall.

Whilst I have never seen an american football match before, I am supporting the Arizona Cardinals.

Yes, and we send them back after they have learned to count to four (downs, that is).

I do like some of the different rules they have in Canada, my favorite one is the multiple motion of receivers. However, four downs is the only way for me.

P.S. Which team do you root for Bill?

When it comes to Canadian pro sports, I am doomed by my upbringing. Born in Ontario, cheer for the Maple Leafs (last Stanley Cup in 1967). Moved to Edmonton, where I met my wife, cheer for the Eskimos (last Grey Cup in 2005, 9 and 9 last season).

To be fair to the Esks, I just read that 2005 was their 34th consecutive year in the playoffs. I think that includes the semis.
