wow.. this is messed up on so many levels.. Let me just start with what should be obvious...

"only 4%" for a trade commission is a ridiculous amount. No one would ever trade on such an exchange. Exchanges are high volume, and operate on much thinner margins. Retail brokers are another matter. But the ridiculous amount of money implied (by questionable sources of course..

Thomas F. Roeser, a founder and now chairman of the editorial board of a Chicago Internet newspaper, The Chicago Daily Observer

Apparently this is not even a physical newspaper. Still trying to research who/what it is..

The artical denies global warming off hand, declaring the entire thing a scam,
name calls draws loose connections into direct profit..

The "article" is unsigned, unreferenced, makes ludicrous connections to "profits" that would be made..

I see opinions and accusations. Very short on facts. Still researching this attempted smear job.

A quick run down on Bill Ayers..

Just grabbed from wikipedia. Obviously a highly volatile page of theirs..

Much of the controversy about Ayers during the decade since 2000 stems from an interview he gave to The New York Times on the occasion of the memoir's publication.[31] The reporter quoted him as saying "I don't regret setting bombs" and "I feel we didn't do enough", and, when asked if he would "do it all again," as saying "I don't want to discount the possibility."[29] Ayers protested the interviewer's characterizations in a Letter to the Editor published September 15, 2001: "This is not a question of being misunderstood or 'taken out of context', but of deliberate distortion."[32] In the ensuing years, Ayers has repeatedly avowed that when he said he had "no regrets" and that "we didn't do enough" he was speaking only in reference to his efforts to stop the United States from waging the Vietnam War, efforts which he has described as ". . . inadequate [as] the war dragged on for a decade."[33] Ayers has maintained that the two statements were not intended to imply a wish they had set more bombs.[33][34]
In a November 2008 interview with The New Yorker, Ayers said that he had not meant to imply that he wished he and the Weathermen had committed further acts of violence. Instead, he said, “I wish I had done more, but it doesn’t mean I wish we’d bombed more shit.” Ayers said that he had never been responsible for violence against other people and was acting to end a war in Vietnam in which “thousands of people were being killed every week.” He also stated, "While we did claim several extreme acts, they were acts of extreme radicalism against property,” and “We killed no one and hurt no one. Three of our people killed themselves.”[35]
Ayers worked with Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley in shaping the city's school reform program,[44] and was one of three co-authors of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge grant proposal that in 1995 won $49.2 million over five years for public school reform.[45] In 1997 Chicago awarded him its Citizen of the Year award for his work on the project.[46] Since 1999 he has served on the board of directors of the Woods Fund of Chicago, an anti-poverty, philanthropic foundation established as the Woods Charitable Fund in 1941.[47] According to Ayers, his radical past occasionally affects him, as when, by his account, he was asked not to attend a progressive educators' conference in the fall of 2006 on the basis that the organizers did not want to risk an association with his past.[48] On January 18, 2009, on his way to speak about education reform at the Centre for Urban Schooling at the University of Toronto, he was refused admission to Canada when he arrived at the Toronto City Centre Airport although he has travelled to Canada more than a dozen times in the past. According to Ayers, "It seems very arbitrary. The border agent said I had a conviction for a felony from 1969. I have several arrests for misdemeanours, but not for felonies." [49]

This looks and smells of right wing conspiracy. The Conspiracy lies in presenting so much information that one would be daunted from researching it all. Second it looks like an OJ defense when someone picks apart a large and convoluted story such as this. third, From just reading it I see outright lies. This leads me to beleive that not only what I know is false but that the entire story is shaded with truth and glazed with outright fabrications.

(To jog your memories, Bill Ayers is a Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago . He founded the Weather Underground, a radical revolutionary group that bombed buildings in the 60s and 70s. He had no remorse for those who were killed, escaped jail on a technicality, and is still an admitted Marxist).

To jog your memories, during the McCarthy era, an amendment to the Constitution was passed which made it illegal to be a Marxist in the USA. The amendment has never been repealed, and may in fact be bolstered by making it treason, punishable by death.

I must have a problem with my copy of the constitution. My indicates the 22nd Amendment was passed in 1951 and limited the president to two terms. The 23rd Amendment was passed in 1961 and allowed the District of Columbia the right to be in congress. McCarthy was riding high in the mid 50's so I don't think it was an Amendment.

That's what my copy says too. Wouldn't have put it past a state to do it though.

That's good because we still have around 70 copies to sell.

I have not had the time to vet this, just posting it as I received it.

Facts, or just another conspiracy theory?
Your opinions?

The Military Industrial Complex is secretly ruled by a clandestine group. This group, known from within as The Scenturions, consists of well connected members of the military elite worldwide, members of the old European aristocracies and some guy named Doug.

Doug is a shadowy figure in international shoe distribution and is constantly changing residences to avoid detection. His associations with the elite procurement officers has allowed Doug the inside advantage on the lucrative bidding processes for supplying army boots to all militaries worldwide from western democracies to the cruelest dictatorships being supported by those western democracies.

The European aristocrats and the military elites conspire to maintain a steady state of war in selected regions of the world in order to keep the sweaty feet of soldiers busily trudging through both deserts and swamps in order to create a ready supply of feet stink contaminated army boots.

These boots are collected and stored in an undisclosed location until the annual meeting of the Scenturion Society. It is at this time the Scenturions unpack the feet stinking boots in a cult like ritual that has it's roots in messages hidden in subliminal texts in episodes of Married With Children.
Upon receiving the subliminal messages, the members of the Scenturions bury their faces deep inside the feet stinking army boots and inhale deeply. Then, they sometimes go out for icecream.

Oh ya...and Obama gets rich

I think bush 43 is a lefty as well. IIRC correctly it was noted that no matter who won the election 200 and 2004 we'd have had lefties in the house

No, I watched. Knowing his father is a lefty, I checked. George W. is not, George H.W. is.
If you have a link to a vid (undoctored!) showing otherwise, to test my memory, let me know.
Of all vids of him around the innerweb, there must be one of him signing something.

LOL....
I ask for your opinion and I get the most amazing display of sarcasm this side of Henny Youngman and Rodney Dangerfield.

Glad I/we made you laugh. And I think the thoughts clear. Either it's bogus, or it's business as usual like what we get from BOTH sides.
