I have many wu's waiting to upload, but I keep getting a message that "project servers may be down." I've been getting that message for two weeks. I've checked server status and there are no problems. Do I need to reset my project? Please advise. Thank you in advance. |

If you have not already, try a reboot, and a no-change update to your client preferences. If that does not clear it, let us know. Servers have been congested but not down. Janice |

Have done both to no avail. What next? It seems only one of your computers is not connecting, but it has an older version of BOINC on it. Try shutting down BOINC, and installing the latest version for Darwin like the other one has. The other two seem to be connecting, and the BOINC version is the first thing that comes to mind. You should be able to install right over the old version, and not lose any work. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

This is going to sound dumb and it may be, but you may want to check and make sure that computer can access the internet. I find I sometimes lose my DSL modem and have even lost a smart hub and they need a power cycle to clear. I have also had problems with ethernet connectors needing to be removed and reinserted. |

I had an additional thought. Your firewall could be blocking the connection as well. If you have never set it, it's located in System Preferences>Security>Firewall and I am running with "Set access for specific services and applications" checked and boinc set to allow incoming connections. I have tight security set because I am on a static IP so they know where to find me. You may want to set "Allow all incoming connections" as a test and if it works, secure your system to the correct level. |

Dena - All other work is uploading fine. I'm going to update Boinc and see if that helps... |

I went to Boinc to download update and it says that I have the most recent version. 6.10.58. Now what? |

I went to Boinc to download update and it says that I have the most recent version. 6.10.58. Now what? Something might have gotten corrupted. Exit BOINC, go to where you have your download package and run it. Setup will ask if you want to REPAIR or UNINSTALL. Press REPAIR. When completed, recycle your machine and launch BOINC, and check the messages tab. You should see if connected. I just checked the cricket stats page and you should be able to download. |

What I am suggesting only applies to your intel mac. I know your other two systems are operating correctly. |
