Long time SETI user, but mostly just let it run and ignore it. Recently bought a new MB, installed BOINC, attached SETI, all using my existing account name, password, etc. When I go to Account on the menu line, and then click on the link that lists my computers, it doesn't show the new one. I am completing tasks, but I can't find out how to get this new computer recognized as part of my account. Assistance would be appreciated.

The replica database from which the computer pages and tasks are read is down. You'll have to wait until it's back up and up-to-date (in sync with the master database) before your computer will show up.

Thanks, Jord. Sorry about the duplicate post - this track pad is more sensitive than I thought.

You will need to go sit at the machine and open a browser to your account at Seti. YOu will need to find and open the file "account_setiathome.berkeley.edu.xml"

From your "account_setiathome.berkeley.edu.xml" file
<account>
<master_url>http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/</master_url>
<authenticator>0a7880aefaee071a6666fe0ad6d780b4</authenticator>
<project_name>SETI@home</project_name>
<project_preferences>

From Your account the line that states
Account key
Provides full access to your account 0a7880aefaee071a6666fe0ad6d780b4

In both cases the "authenticator" should match the "account key"
