30/09/2010 06:59:57 SETI@home Scheduler request failed: HTTP service unavailable

I have also checked my pending and it has jumped from aprox 75,000 to 154,000

It looks as if they have received the update info but are unable to let us know.

All now reported, main machine has now got a little work.

Message 1037495 - Posted: 30 Sep 2010, 18:04:14 UTC - in response to Message 1037454.

After Browsing through my tasks, reported on september 21 and 30, all tasks from my FERMI based host, are Valid and are waiting for wingmen, for a cannonical Result. 1700 WU's are waiting validation.

But I noticed a lot of Validation inconclusive from my GTS250 (+Q6600)host.
Same situation as my 9800GTX+ & GTS250 host, to much failiars.
I noticed more and more errors. From -9 (overflow =>30 pulses), or Find Triplets in a row and a few other faults.
And again it's very looks like HEAT, is one of the Major causes, but it's hard to get proof or evidence.

But, in time, I'll swap my last 200 series to a 400 series card, I get the impression these series are not made for continued, 24x7x 365 use.
Which is in fact one continued Stress-Test/BechMark-test.
When NVidia started their FERMI cards production, it was clear, the [i]Architecture had to change drastic
.

Probably due to THIS fact,
they are made for 24x7x365 use. Only a look at those cards, better cooling, also more power draw, also more possebillities at programming, more fast GDDR5 memory.
And it seems the 400 series are far more robust and more up to the job.
And again, only time and constant use, will show us how much this series, does a better job, at continued crunching. Which is just what we need.
I sincerely hope, that 'they' have achieved this.

Not sure what's going on now...

Reported all tasks yesterday, now trying to report 1758 tasks again (that's all of them!)

Can't connect now due to scheduler request failed.

Please let me have some work!

Giz.

09/30/2010 15:48:30 SETI@home Fetching scheduler list
09/30/2010 15:48:31 SETI@home Master file download succeeded
09/30/2010 15:48:37 SETI@home Sending scheduler request: To report completed tasks.

09/30/2010 15:49:01 Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.

It seems the scheduler is still too busy to take my calls. Maybe I'll contact the operator and tell them it'a an emergency so that I can get through! I think I will put Iron Man 2 into by Blu-ray instead.

Rig on a Bench just reported 1024 tasks out of 5082 looks like the max report at any one time.
Still has 4058 to report.

Think I will pull the plug on S@H till things are running more smoothly.

Just happen to have lots of machines running the project - wasn't trying to out do anyone (hope no one got the wrong idea I was boasting or anything like that) - we were all in the same mess at the time. Thankfully everything is getting sent out now - really looking forward to some work again :)

At least, got some (Pending) credit: 161,324.91 , only have to try reporting some 450 Results, as some have come through, on 21 september....:)

Crunching the last SETI WU's on my LT, a few minutes left, before they are completed.
Reduced Einsteins resources, cause it keeps on sending new CPU and CPU+GPU tasks,
looks like, they don't act on resource settings, could also be Debt, though.

How do you reduce the resources used by Einstein@home?

Since my computer are getting bored due to lack of WUs, I have attached some of them to Einstein@home too. Currently Einstein@home and Seti@home share the resources 50-50.

Just let Boinc sort it........
When your computer is able to connect to Seti and get new work, it will start to process it. Unless the Einstein tasks have to be completed first.
But when they do, Boinc will make up the difference by processing a lot of Seti work to make up the lost workshare.
And then you should start to see Seti running almost exclusively until the 50% share you have set is reached again. It make take some time, but it will work out in the end.
