The upload servers are back up. The scheduling server is still off line.

They are back off line now.

But can't report. Is it too soon to wish for that?

Uploaded all my work. About 30 WU on two systems. Reports not working yet. They may be just testing the upload servers live.

What's interesting is that the server status page still shows everything down, but cricket graphs are spiking. Perhaps this is a test, or the status page has not been updated with all the server shuffling....

I paused the uploads for a few mins, when I tried again all uploaded with no error.

I was just wondering if the whole project is back up, or just a component test. Time will tell. My rig is disconnected at the moment anyway, but I am hopeful that when I get it back up, I can report these thousands of tasks. If not, then I'll wait. No biggy for me.

Don't forget that 1000's of users want to connect, report, upload, and then download new tasks. As soon as the server comes online, it'll be hammered from every direction. That alone will be enough to cause some of the uploads to fail.

Be patient, guys and gals...

Giz.

All 3 of my machines uploaded with no problems, reporting is still a no go though.

I've uploaded everything from one machine and it now has 450 WUs to report. That won't work right now, HTTP service unavailable. Progress, anyway...

Hey Steve, don't force yourself showing a brave face. You're crying at your keyboard just like the rest of us. Admit it, there's no shame in that :-)

Naw,, I am anxious about moving forward like everyone, but I am in this project for as long as it lasts, or I do. I'm sure I'll see more ups and downs over the next few years. The only downside I have is that my chiller starts cycling when my CPU's run out of work, and it wakes me up. To cure that, I just crunch Einstein. I just had new windows put in, so I had to take apart my rig to move it away from the window being replaced. They had to replace structure, so I have to finish the mudding and sanding the sheet rock before I prime and paint it, so even if SETI is fully back, my rig will just have to wait a while longer. Moving two separate closed loop water cooling systems with my tower was a lot of work. I did it without having to drain it though.

Has anyone been able to REPORT yet?

On my AP-only notebook, everything went smoothly in matter of 10 minutes!? Uploaded 14 completed tasks, reported them and got 19 new AP babies in return which came down in full speed. On my main (AP+cuda rig) uploads were fine, but no reporting. Now isn't that strange?
