Just got this message too. Which if true, is really going to p#$% me off. Between the science outages, which I really am OK with, and the outages due to mechanical/electronic failures, I'm down to CUDA tasks now. No uploads means no downloads over the weekend. Now downloads means under the best of possible options, the servers are going to be hammered on Monday. Which will greatly reduce the chances of 'restocking' on work units before the next outage. Maybe a two week break from outages might not be a bad idea to let everything stabilize. Then return to the previous scheduled programs.

I got that too, Seems to be something they need to work on, As It wasn't something they expected from what I've read.

I'll check my other hosts, use an LT for this, for crunching, too.

I am having like problems... and I am in the process of taking the HDD and over-writing it with a new/different OS which will erase all the SETI processing (I have successfully stop taking tasks and reported all my finished work units... 'cept for SETI... and I have trying for days!!

Noon tomorrow and these units are toast ;-)

Time to pull out the See and Say from Mattel and call home.
I`m about ready to pull the plug permanently.
we have been offline more than online and I don`t see us getting anywhere with the equipment failures adding to the down time....I don`t even believe the science is here anymore.

OH, the science is here, don't fret about that.

The faithful are here for that, don't think twice about it.

And the science.........Oh, yeah.

Best Regards.

Looks like playing around with the IP address may not have worked out as expected.
