Its been close to a 1-1/2 years since I could work on any of the science projects as my Graphics Card over heated. Last time I looked, SETI had a bunch of PR (Public Relations) cool stuff in the gift shop that you could buy. Like SETI ball caps, SETI T-Shirts, SETI coffee mugs, SETI Laser Pointers, Paper weights (art work), etc. Now its ALL gone, and you ONLY have a book store, very good books I'm sure, but unless you are sitting on a bus, train, or in another public area, no one will be thinking about SETI in the general public. The items that are no longer here were GREAT for FREE advertising. Any plans to bring some back? If you don't want to actually stock/drop ship items, maybe you could work out some deal with Edmunds Scientific where you click on an icon on your web site and it sends a person to theirs site. If they make a purchase from them, they would shoot a few cents back to you. Everyone would be happy but you wouldn't get the name recognition like you did before. Just a thought to think about.
