you have very old AP apps in there. you might try installing your optimized apps with the 0.37 lunatics unified installer. that should get you rolling

Looks like ap_5.05r168_SSE.exe was the culprit. Updating to ap_5.05r409_SSE.exe seems to have resolved the problem.

Highly misleading error message in that apparently it pertained to AP version, and not indicative of an error regarding the app name in the app_info.xml file, i.e., app name for both versions remain the same: astropulse_v505; the Seti_Enhanced version remains the the same version as before. I had tried hacking out the reference to AP_v_5 before posting, but that made no difference.

Anyways works now, last long time.

the app is the optimized version so it makes a huge difference.

Roger that.

The message at issue has been popping up in the logs for 'a while' (hasn't impinged on processing of SETI WU's though nearest I can tell); I recently had to suspend new WU's for all projects for 'a while' due to enormous crunch times for a recent batch of Lattice WU's - I'd accumulated 260 hrs to 95% that I didn't want to lose - with anticipated and forthcoming HW downtime where WU processing was in a checkpointing Gobi - behind the moon LOS - situation and reboot incompatible.

Now that my platform is fully integrated - good to go and crunching big time again - we'll see how the new EXE works. It better last long time AND works good too.
