Over her it's dinner o'clock. I made broccoli stew with sausages, the children adore it. I have to make it, like, three times a week or I get the nagging 'Mom?...When will you make brocolli stew?'

My kids wouldn´t eat that.

That's because they haven't tasted it yet ;)

None of my kids like broccoli, so they wouldn´t try.

Mornin' cafe dudes and dudettes :-)

@ Julie - Your stew sounds yummy, and it must be because kids often don't like broccoli :-)

I made a dress out of one of my dyed fabrics, I also added random machine embroidered motifs (the dress looks better on me than on the dummy)...

I am really happy with it, and have gotten many comments on the two occasions I have worn it.

Another dress made today, using more of my shibori dyed fabric...

Once again, the garment looks much better on a real person than on a coat-hanger, but you get the idea.

A great day today - going for a bike ride in the morning whilst it was sunny, and then sewing all afternoon/evening when the forecast thunderstorm arrived. :-)

Almost bedtime now *yawn*

Hi Carola,

When I can make garments in more than just my size...I am yet to learn 'pattern grading' (making a pattern in several sizes) at college, and haven't learned made to measure yet either.

I hadn't thought that anybody would want to wear what I like, but I get lots of favourable comments when wearing my own designs, so maybe others would wear them.

Yes it does, and learn the pattern grading so you can go semi-commercial

Well, I am going to start dyeing silk scarves, which would be relatively easy to try and sell...who knows.

Thanks again for all your lovely comments :-)

It's bedtime here now, I have school tomorrow.
