The big banks are doing better, lots of money to borrow with no interest. Are you doing better? Obama made sure big business didn't suffer too long why isn't he doing anything to help the people? I thought he promised during his campain that he would stop the rate of foreclosures? Around here for the last 3 months they have accelerated. Banks are taking the houses way faster than even a year ago. It is forcing property values to continue to plummit which takes money right out of the peoples pocket...Is Obama related to Bush? What can he do? Homeowners (felony) lied on their applications saying their income was much more than reality. Banks were forced by the Community Reinvestment Act (Jimmy Carter legislation) to lend or go out of business. Baby Boomers are at retirement age and are selling for cash, thus depressing prices on all investment assets. The chickens are coming home to roost. The fate is accomplished.

Not much now, but he could have forced the Banks he partly owned to honor his programs he set up. Anyone go to Bank of America and try and do the loan modification? Bank of America did a few but turned down many that qualified for no real reason, I was one of them. I never lied about my income, just listened to a loan officer at WAMU that wasn't really caring about my needs. I won't lose my house but lots of others are and they should be important also. I bet Banks own more of America than they have in years. I don't normally believe in Bailouts but since Obama bailed out so many Banks and big business's that yes the American Public deserves a bit also.
Anyone that is paying more than 5.5% should get a modification, Banks are paying about 0 to borrow.
