Please help, I have 3 tasks that are IN PROGRESS and have been so since 11th and 12th of July, they are just sitting there not doing anything, not sure if there was a problem with downloading them onto my computer. I have no working tasks on my computer at the moment, my status is set to wont get new tasks, ive clicked on update in an attempt do get these 3 tasks to download onto my computer but to no avail. If i go to allow new tasks then it will download new tasks but just not the 3 that are "IN PROGRESS" already running a GenuineIntel Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU T4300 @ 2.10GHz [Family 6 Model 23 Stepping 10] (2 processors) Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium x64 Edition, computer Please help |

These are what we call in the trade "Ghost units". You can't download them again, they will have to time out on their own. They happen when your computer contacts the project for more work, gets through to the database server which allocates you that work, but before the work will actually be sent to you the connection is dropped from the project out to you. Or from your client to the project. That way the work is allocated to you in the database, but never going to be reaching you in any way. There is absolutely nothing you can do about that. See this thread for a lot more people with the same problems. |
