Lori's eldest, Callie, had a small stroke of some kind yesterday. She fell over, went stiff as a board, and her eyes were fully dilated. Lori picked her up, held her and comforted her, and she slowly started to come back. Today, she seems better, came to the door to greet Lori when she got home from work, and ate some dinner. I know her time with us is waning...her kidneys are doing poorly and we have been giving her sub-q fluids twice a week for a little over a year now. But I would pray for a little longer for the old gurl. Neither I nor Lori is quite ready to say goodbye to this gentlest of kitty souls. I was very upset at the time, and just wanted to hear from somebody....anybody. I know many of you care very much about all kitties, as I do. Thank you to those who have sent their thoughts and prayers, including those who have done so but not posted. I feel better now. Little Callie has had a very good, much loved life.
