Might be the right place to just mention that it appears the server-side DCF for AP and anonymous platform may finally be in place. Last week when I had WUs, they were estimated at ~26 hours (almost accurate). Starting to get some now and they are estimating 3 hours. I've got some that are in the 26 hour range and My cpu is no slouch. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Also, either I have some incredible luck, or the feeder ratio got adjusted. When I get a successful work request, I can get 6-8 APs at a time, all sequential WU-IDs. Even with the redlined cricket graph, I do notice that there are still periods where it is much more likely to get tasks than being told there are none (the infamous "AP spike" in the graph). Even with the redlined cricket graph, I do notice that there are still periods where it is much more likely to get tasks than being told there are none (the infamous "AP spike" in the graph). That suggests they've stopped using the -allapps Feeder argument. If so, the 100 slots would just get the next 100 available resultIDs and the mix would simply be based on which splitters were producing work when the Transitioner created those result entries. And from Scarecrow's data it looks like they may have come close to having mb_splitters and ap_splitters producing at the same times. At least it started that way, since they didn't presplit a bunch of work during the outage. Actually maintaining that kind of synchronization for the whole uptime is very unlikely IMO, though trimming the "Results ready to send" levels at which the splitters turn on and off might make a rough approximation. The limit was increased - but not possible to DL (immediately backlogged), because the 'cricket graphs traffic' is maxed out. |

I've suspended network activities for now, maybe it will get better later, think I have enough work anyway. |

Also I guess it's moments like now there's a risk of getting ghosts, so unless your a big time cruncher I think disabling network (or don't allow now tasks) would be smart :) |

Cricket graphs look OK, Server Status Page looks OK, I remember seeing a posting about what I'm seeing, but I have no idea where. Hiamps, did you get enough to sustain the outage? I'm still a bit lean. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

I'm still a bit lean. I know I have enough or at least BoincTasks 0.68 thinks so, A few days ago I had what looked just over 3 days left, Now? Just over 12 days and I didn't download more than 1 or 2 here and there, Go figure. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

From the cricket graphs traffic, after ~ 10 hours maxed out, currently at ~ 40 Mbits/sec DL. If someone have not enough for to bridge the 3 day outage, now it's the last chance/a well time for to DL WUs. In ~ 4 hours the server are off. |
