Congrats to all milestones!

My Intel Core2 Duo E7600 @ 2x 3.06 GHz with manufacturer OCed GTX260-216 (680/1500/1250 MHz) reached > 18,000 SETI@home-RAC.

I think not bad for ~ 250 wattage. :-)

Who can beat this (lowest W/highest SETI@home-RAC)? ;-)

I'm curious about which RAC value he will reach finally.

Just passed 90 Million total credit and over 415K RAC. Both Figures climbing fast. And also our GPU Users Group Team is reaching for the #3 spot in the most productive teams. Only 17k RAC behind the current holder.

Congrats!

GPU calculation is powerful, isn't it?

Sure is - could have reached this high on just CPU cycles - although I do have plenty of those too. One box alone has 64 threads running.

You worked/work for Microsoft, right?
Not for Intel? Or they are connected?

;-)

Sure, you could reach the same GPU (S@h-)RAC with CPUs (in one host) but with the result of much more wattage (never mind/apart from the cost of acquisition)..
The best RAC/wattage ratio you have with GPUs.

nVIDIA is powerful!

I don't know if I can hold it, but I just achieved a RAC of over 42,000 with my one rig. It shows two under my account, but it is really only one. I am very satisfied, as my rig is lightning fast no matter what I ask it to do. For the moment, I'm happy! :)

Congrats Steve! Thats a great RAC for a single rig. My pair of aircooled GTX 460 seems to be just up to the moved GTX 295 or a bit higher, but hey, they will add 25k more to my RAC in a few days... aiming for #3 spot.

It's been about 8 years in the making, but I finally passed the 1,000,000 WU mark for Seti. Just running a few old home PC's. Figured they may as well do something besides sit on the shelf in the shed. I know we fill find ET Eventually :-)

This may seem to be an odd milestone. I have reached 5326217 total points which means that Predictor has dropped to less than 1% of the total. (yes, I am still a bit steamed at them).

If they can write an app for your Atari 800XL, I have an Apple IIGS that used to crunch Seti Classic just aching to get back in the game. I still use it for mailing list stuff and a few old games, but it's jealous because everything else is on the Mac G4s.

And what's with AMIGA 500 and Commodore 64?
But I guess, this machines will never finish a WU before the deadline.

Ohh yes, the good old times. *daydream*
