I'm thinking it's time to bump up the limits.
It took 12 hours for the traffic to finally drop off after the outage, but that would appear to be due to a lot of shorties in the system. It's been 8 hours now since the traffic dropped off (apart from the usual Astro Pulse bursts), so i reckon it's a good time for a few more Work Units per client.

Couldn't it be done with some sort of auto script?

I'd think so, but i suspect other things have priority at this stage.

Once they get it figured out, probably. Until then... Well they have to figure out what to put in the script first.

That makes it a lot less labor for us power crunchers. Otherwise, we have to babysit BOINC constantly in our available time.

Indeed, it looks like the Cricket graph has settled nicely to around 46Mb. We don't want the servers to get too complacent they may not want to go back to work!

it was very nice being mostly loaded and out of the way of the power crunchers for the monday rush.

a bump up would be in order it appears.. cpu/gpu/no totals limit(is there really anything that does not get limited by the cpu and gpu limits??)

I've been lurking around the forums trying to find what the current limit is. I sure hope they up it tomorrow or Monday. Because right now I'm stuck at ten.
WTH?

Uglybiker,
Your computer is hidden but I'm guessing it's a dual. It looks like the limit right now is 5 per CPU and 40 per GPU. I don't know what he set the max to this time, probably 1000 but that is just a guess.

Thanks (yeah, it's a dual).
Hopefully we'll find out what that max is soon.

I just upped the limits from 5(cpu),40(gpu) to 20,160. This was our highest limit last weekend. Oh, and we are trying things out with no total limits at all this time. We'll see how it goes. Yes, we do want to script this up at some point soon.
