I am a returning user of Seti@Home. I forgot my original password from my original BOINC account, and my email address had changed since this time. How can I change my email address and my password in my existing BOINC account to keep my points?

Only if you manage to log in on the previous account, which then either requires you to be able to log in on the old email address or that you use the old account authenticator.

Which requires that you still have a backup copy of your old BOINC installation (namely the account_setiathome.berkeley.edu.xml file).

Sorry, but I mention in my original message that I can't find my original account password. When I choose "forgot my password" that option just send an email to the old email address.

No that file is not available, it was on my last computer.
