Better late than never ehh..
Gratz everybody! Can't believe there are so many folks that have been here through the whole ride. I think that speaks volumes...
Still remember my first host was a pentium 100 or so mhz (133?) IBM Aptiva
Built an AMD K6-2 machine o/c (ie. 266mhz>289mhz or some such) around '99 for crunching. Oh the memeories...

Cheers! Hope to see us all still around for the 20th anniversary..

>Does it count if you went away for, say, 6 years?

would seem that you're closer to the 5 year club then. right?

should we start an 11 year club for those who've actually been running SETI crunching (and burning out power supplies, cooking CPUs and GPUs) without a break?

I came and left and came back. Still have my 11 years. Those that have been non stop.. Well it takes us a while to catch up with you on totals. /salute.

But returns definately count here. When I got a message from SETI saying "you MUST install BOINC" I said "I still have free will." Missed it at first. Nearly forgot about it for a long time. Came back and.. well here I are!

Talk about missing the boat.

I've never bothered to post before, but while seeing all these members who have been here for the entire 11 years, I just got the urge to count myself in.

It's been a wonderful time, and heres to looking at another 11 years.

The first time, I noticed the anniversary on time. Yippie.

The old times.. I started with an AMD 486 DX2/80, 32MB RAM and the Sun Ultra 1, 166 MHz UltraSPARC CPU at work. The AMD machine almost took a week to complete a single classic workunit.
