Guys like Moore & Franken have a hell of a lot more substance and actual RESEARCH to what they do than Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity, and Coulter could ever dream of. It cracks me up people screech about Moore for simply showing the venal ways of the right-wing corporate whorebags. I mean, half of F911 was footage of the idiot neocons doing what they do best/worst.

And for the record, I was actually a member of the NRA in my youth, and actually won some target shooting contests. Of course that was back when the NRA was a sporting organization and not a bunch of right-wing fundamentalist fanatics. The reich-wingers in the US have been very successful at using bigotry & racism to win (did 11 states really need "anti-gay legislation" on the ballot?), and in painting Moore as an "evil extremist worse than anything Limbaugh did."

And is that level of Nazi-esque lies & deceit anything to be proud of, America?

Excuse me, but you call Americans 'arrogant' for wanting to impose their views on the world, then mention this as an alternative?

Wouldn't the same people that conduct this type of exercise be equally (and unpleasantly) uncomfortable if the rest of the planet were allowed to choose the leader of THEIR nation?

What's good for the goose...usually ends up in the pate!

Stewie: So, is there any tread left on the tires? Or at this point would it be like throwing a hot dog down a hallway?

Isn't that like "adopt a pet (liberal)".

Rather tacky (or kinky, depending on your point of view). What will Canada do if they later decide to become citizens, further straining the Canadian health care system?

I fully understand John, but the difference is nobody cares who will be
the next president (or is it prime minister) of Norway because it won't
change anything in our day to day life.

We cannot say the same for American election. Almost all decisions taken
by the US president will influance day to day life of the whole world.

Before bush invaded Irak nobody where beheaded over there. I am not
accusing american for those barbarian acts, I am just saying facts.

As the world super power you have to expect other country to give
their opinions and preference over one president at the white house
rather then another one.

As for americans being arrogant, I guess it could be true in some aspect.
Having the biggest army makes it easy to invades country without even
listening to other countries advise or concerns. That is what happen with
Irak. People arround the world never understood the point in doing that
and it shows that they were right.

International aid organisations (action contre la faim, medecin sans
frontiere, red cross, care, a bridge for Irak, The UN ! etc) have all been
directly hurts by Bush decision. Beheading, suicide bombers, 100000 innocent
who died over there, etc are the direct impact of the american president
unilateral's decision to attack that sovereign coutry.

I am not accusing americans, don't get me wrong, but if americans don't
want other countries interract with your own business, just make sure your
administration acts with respect of others and intelligence.

By re-electing bush americans are kind of approuving his unilateral views
and world policies. And uses of forces just for the benefits of Americans.
No matter if it's good or bad for others.

How many times The US has opposed his veto at the security concil just
because it was not good for the US ? The kyoto threaty is a good example.
The US is the biggest "producers" of pollution and the ozone whole is
in great parts their fault. Why America has opposed to it ? Because it
would apparently not be good for the economy.

If you go to extreme, the world could be dying of war, hunger, pollution
etc, but as long as it don't touch American economy nobody bother.

I am not Anti american, those who "know" me knows that. It's just that
it is time for american to understand that being a superpower do not
just bring advantage, but also big responsability.

Regards
Marc

One last thing. Are you saying that the US never "choose" or influance
the result of other nations presidency ? I can post the details of
the last 60 years of american foreign policies in detail if you want.

Isn't that like "adopt a pet (liberal)". ??? Kind of. But if you visit
the site you can see that even if it's true there are humours behind.

They become citizen right away and take advantage of the health care system.
The health care system has suffered a lot in the past 10 years but they are
improving it. Canada is an imigration country just like US, we need immigration
why not some american... Just nice one though, there is a black list. If you
are not on the list then your fine. lol
