I don't believe anyone is questioning any individual's contribution. They are all worthy. Nor am I aware of anyone questioning the veracity of someone who says they contributed but doesn't show a green star. I'm sure most people who are attached just have one rig attached and the extra electricity of having the rig crunch instead of idle is their limit. It is very much appreciated. And it is how the project exists. And the majority of them don't read or post to the boards, if they even know they exist. I believe some are questioning the wisdom of spending money for a dozen custom built crunch rigs and an electrician to bring in extra electricity for them, but not realizing that they needed to send a few $ or hardware to Seti to be sure there are work units for those rigs to crunch. It is their choice and their donation is appreciated. However if that person expresses an opinion on the availability of work units, others may form an opinion about them. ID: 1009098 ·
