Seti@home website, 'account'
'seti@home preferences'
'Edit' und dann 'Use CPU' auf no
'update preferences' knopf druecken, und nicht vergessen den Boincmanager seti updaten zu lassen

EDIT: Wenn Du Computer mit unterschiedlichen Praeferenzen laufen lassen willst, die Kategorien 'home' 'work' und 'school' nutzen und dann den Rechner der jeweiligen 'location' zuschlagen (Computers on this account -> details -| ganz unten 'location'

If all of the above fails you can also set <ncpus> in your "app_info.xml" to 1.
Then the CPU will only assist the GPU and won't do any WU's.

If you are not using optimized apps then I don't think you have an "app_info.xml".
If you don't, you can download the optimized apps from:

http://lunatics.kwsn.net/index.php?module=Downloads;catd=9

Download the "unified installer" for 32bit or 64bit Windows and install it.

If all of the above fails you can also set <ncpus> in your "app_info.xml" to 1.

I think that should be "cc_config.xml" ;-)

Then the CPU will only assist the GPU and won't do any WU's.

And that won't work quite as described as well. The computer would be treated as if it had only one CPU, regardless of the actual count, and that one would do work units as well.

I think app_info.xml was meant, but the <avg_ncpus> and <max_ncpus> for the GPU app. That would have the effect of reserving a full CPU in support of a task running on GPU.

But ralf seems to have been satisfied with the answers which keep BOINC from downloading work for CPU, so it matters not.
